In recent years, ephedra products have been extensively promoted for aiding weight control and boosting sports performance and energy. The drug has been around for years, but only recently have some forms proven to be harmful.
Data shows little evidence of ephedra’s effectiveness except for short-term weight loss, but confirm that Ephedra side effects can include raising blood pressure and otherwise stresses the circulatory system.
